More Uncertainty

It's been about two and a half months since my last post, so I must ask myself: am I really the blogging type? Have I not hit upon the right subject matter to inspire me? Am I just too busy with work? Or am I just too damn lazy? Probably a little of all of the above.

My first goal is to find a new job that will allow me a bit more down time, because one thing I am certain about is that I love my down time. For instance, I was just settling into the couch yesterday afternoon, contemplating a nap, when my cell phone rang. A work-related crisis had developed and I spent the next 4+ hours on the phone and email.

My job intereferes in my personal time like that very frequently. So, I dream of a dull job where I go in and work my eight hours and come home and I never once worry about work at night or on the weekends. Maybe if I'm bored enough at work, I'll be more inspired to do some blogging.

In the meantime, I should stop complaining to no one and occasionally think of an interesting topic or two to write about. I'm not ready to completely give up yet.

How about a TV update? That should perk me up. I'll work on that next.
